There are plenty of myths regarding excess fat and obesity problems. To lose fat, it is very essential to understand the fundamentals behind obesity problems and fat loss. Although there might be plenty of other reasons; body metabolism plays a very great role in weight loss. It may happen that a well organized diet combined with a well-designed exercise program may fail; this can be attributed to a low body metabolic rate. The reason that most fat loss products fail is because losing fat slows down the body metabolic rate, thereby influencing your body to burn less calories. The after-effect is that you recover the weight even though you are eating less. The body chemistries and metabolism of each individual is different and this is the other reason why most weight loss programs fail as because they are not customized enough to fit every person. Almost every fat person has an abnormally low metabolic rate. This means that with same amount of calorie consumed, a fat person would gain weight whereas a thin person may not gain weight. When your body is at a very low metabolic rate it cannot burn the food. When the food is not burned, the excess food is converted into fat, thus increasing your weight and making you fatter. That is why the significant step for weight loss is to set right your body metabolic rate.

4.Thyroid: Underactive thyroid is due to nutritional inadequacies and fluoride content in water you use. It is mainly responsible for a slower body metabolic rate.
5.Hormonal Imbalances: Hormones effectively work unitedly in modulating the body metabolic rate. Hormonal imbalances are caused by stress, chemical additives in food.
6.Lack of water: Lack of water in body cells leads to a slow metabolic rate.
7.Parasites: Almost every individual suffering from obesity problems have parasites in their body.

Other reasons include lack of sleep, consumption of carbonated and ice cold drinks, lack of sun, nutritional imbalances, lack of sweating, and lack of walking. The good news is that you can boost your metabolic rate with virtually little effort. Hence, it makes sense that making some minor changes in some areas can raise your metabolic rate and consequently speeds up weight loss. There are so many choices, aerobic exercises, weight training, special foods and food combinations, and dozens of other thingsâ€"all designed to raise the body’s metabolic rate, but you have to be patient enough, as it is a very slow process. To our advantage, activities that speed up metabolic rate can boost calorie burning and accelerates weight loss. Having a higher metabolic rate means that you are burning calories efficiently all the time, whether you are resting or training or even sleeping.
When you modulate your metabolic rate and bring it back to normal, you will experience a dramatic increase in energy. You will find that your unhappiness and moodiness will go away; your motivation in life will increase. Overall, you will feel like a brand new person.
