When It Comes To Big Ticket Sales Do You Know What You Are Doing?

By: Robert Fine Home | Internet-and-Business

Thanks to the poor economy people who are used to making a 6 figure income are flocking to the internet for ways to make big money. There are many examples of people who were paid very well now seeking out opportunities to get back to that income level.

One way to make a lot of money online is to sell big-ticket items. however if you're going to sell big-ticket items on the Internet you need to know what you're talking about and how to do it.

The good news is it really is just as easy to sell a $1000 product online as it is to sell a $20 ebook. You just have to make sure you are targeting the correct market.

There are many items online that you can sell and earn commissions of $1000 or more. This is what I would classify as a big-ticket item.

Before they purchase it most people need multiple exposure to a product. It's been said that a person needs to see something over 10 times or more before they will actually buy it. This is true when it comes to purchasing high ticket products.

Therefore it's important that you develop a follow-up system with your prospects. If you expect to drive traffic to your sales page and play the numbers you are limiting your opportunities to make more sales.

Most people who are successful in selling big ticket items work on capturing their prospects name and email address and following up with them. Initially they may not even be trying to sell their big-ticket product.

Many successful Internet marketers create a product funnel where they sell low ticket items to their customers and follow up with big ticket items at a later date.

Developing relationships is another thing successful Internet marketers. As people begin to trust you as an expert they will be more likely to spend money on your product. Therefore you have to get to know them and be receptive to replying to emails and offering useful information for free.

Because these are the best prospects for making your big ticket sales to you should view every question a person has an opportunity to sell more. Therefore it stands to reason that you must own the product you're selling.

When you are doing your follow-up by e-mail it gives you a chance to review the product and resell it in e-mail messages themselves. The only way you can effectively do that is to buy your own product and learn everything about it.

This is why when we say when it comes to big ticket sales you better know what you are doing. This means knowing what you're doing with Internet marketing as well as product knowledge.
