When you go to a magic show you'll probably see a lot of tricks that will boggle your mind. You'll wonder how the magician pulled it off. But the trick only appears to be complex. In reality, almost all tricks are very basic. So when you are learning magic tricks keep it simple. The key to most magic tricks isn't that you're able to make some difficult trick look simplistic; the key is making a simple trick seem like it's a near impossibility. If you convey to the audience that something should be happening then they will believe it shouldn't be happening. But if you make out like what you're doing is very simple then they will be much more likely to look for a simple suggestion and they might just catch how you're performing a magic trick. So when learning magic tricks keep it simple. Start off by performing the actual trick over and over. Then begin to build on the trick. Make sure you look completely natural while performing the trick. Make sure all your movements flow together. You don't want any part of your trick to appear to be forced or choppy. If it does then someone will probably pick-up on what you're doing. Finally, when learning magic tricks keep it simple and then add your own flavor to the trick. Include some extra entertainment. Put in a little spice. In other words, make the trick your own. This will help you perform it and it will also help make the trick better. Always remember that more difficult does not equal better when it comes to magic. This is very important when learning magic tricks. Keeping it simple is what you need to do. Simple tricks are very effective and they will help you be a great magician.
