Most placed are crowded and kept cool thanks to centralized air conditioning systems (just look at malls, department stores, bus terminals and airports). Unfortunately, contamination happens faster in crowded areas, so that a single sneeze or a simple cough can threaten thousands of lives. If only people were more conscious of their environment and maintained cleanliness all the time, the sudden outbreak of a plague would be prevented. Diseases and serious illnesses that can lead to sudden death would be hampered and, pest infections would be controlled and stopped.
