Many people want to have bright and light sparkling white teeth. However, to have a brilliant smile with shiny teeth, you need to spend lots of money on teeth whitening products. And, teeth bleaching are just one of the few teeth whitening treatments.

Bleaching is a first-rate teeth whitening treatment. It is the most commonly known treatment for whitening teeth because it is cheaper compared to laser teeth whitening treatment. This treatment is performed without taking away any of the tooth surface.

Everyone has a different tooth color. A lot of smokers have stained teeth, but others are blessed with shining white teeth.

In general teeth bleaching are suitable for those who have discolored teeth like smokers and those who are eating, but omit brush regularly and correctly. In such scenario, it is recommended that you get dentist advice on teeth whitening product before using any teeth whitening product.

A dentist will tell you if it is suitable for you to undergo a teeth whitening treatment. When you undergo a teeth whitening treatment, dentist uses gel or rubber shield on gums, so soft tissues are not damaged. Then they will apply the beaching product to the teeth by means of a tray which will fit the shape of your mouth. At last, dentist would give you some instructions and you will continue following it at home.

The active ingredients of bleaching products such as carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide formulates the teeth white. When the active ingredient starts to break, the oxygen goes inside the enamel of the teeth and then the tooth color made lighter. Treatments like this are typically done in 3 to 4 weeks.

You have yet one more option for whitening your teeth is the laser teeth whitening. In laser teeth whitening treatment a rubber dam is placed over the teeth to prevent the gums to be damaged and than whitening product is applied to your teeth. A laser is used to trigger the chemical applied to the teeth. It increases the chemical effect of the bleaching product thus the color can be achieved speedily.

But before you undergo laser treatment, a dentist requires checking your teeth to make sure that you are fit to undergo the treatment. Laser teeth whitening treatment is the fastest one and that may only takes about an hour.

Normally, teeth bleaching effect may last up to 3 years; however it may differ from person-to-person. Of course, if you continue smoking and drinking or eating products that stain your teeth, the effect is less likely t last long. During or after treatment, you will fill your teeth become sensitive to cold. However, this symptom normally disappears in a few days after the treatment.

These are an efficient stain removal and to improve the appearance of your teeth, but it does not alter your teeth, natural color. A whitening paste can be helpful to make the effect last longer once you undergo a teeth whitening treatment.

There are many ways to keep your teeth white. Try to reduce the food that you eat or drink, which causes the stain or discoloration of your teeth. Also stop smoking and brush your teeth 3 times a day to avoid staining or discoloring of your teeth.
