Humans have been making rugs for hundreds of years. A rug can add a touch of life to a room. Rugs come in many sizes, styles, colors and shapes. Some rugs are made to accent the décor of a room. Some rugs are made with symbols on them. Other rugs are made strictly as a form of art. Many rugs are hung on walls and displayed as art. In some cases people will combine different designs and styles to create a unique feeling in the space. Some styles of rugs include Persian, Tibetan, Indian, Caucasian, and European. Some shapes of rug include round, square, rectangle and runners.
