Bucket trucks are quite popular in American highways and streets, there are lots of used bucket trucks for sale banners around offering these automobiles especially in cities like Texas,Illinois, California, Ohio, and Georgia but do you know what they are used for? I am writing about some of the common, uncommon and humorous uses of these vehicles. * Telecommunications lines and electrical utility maintenance †Bucket trucks are used for elevating the workers up to the lines or electrical equipment so that they can do the maintenance work easily. There is insulation on these trucks to protect the workmen from high voltage and dangerous wires. * Washing windows †There are plenty of bucket trucks offered for sale in the market because of the versatility they offer like washing windows. These automobiles have brooms that can extend up to 60 inches or more. They can easily be used for washing the exterior windows of office buildings up to 5 storey size. These trucks also ensure the safety of the worker while washing the windows. * Fruit picking †There are used bucket trucks for sale like cherry pickers which are made for picking up fruits from the orchids. They were made long time ago and it is interesting to see that they are used even today. * Rescuing animals †Wildlife needs to be taken good care off because the number of these animals are dwindling. I have a read report in newspaper saying that bucket trucks were used to rescue a sea gull. The gull had a fishing line and hook caught in the wing and the animal rescuers on the bucket trucks took care of it. * Hanging decorations †You can pledge support to your favorite team by hanging banners on such bucket trucks. They are also used to show off Christmas in the city square and you can hang a lot of such decorations on these trucks. * Tree trimming †Tree trimming is done just before monsoon in order to ensure the safety of the people. Bucket trucks can be used to trimming trucks. There are loose and broken tree branches which endanger electrical branches too.
