Why Businesses Need Your Help?

By: Folusho Orokunle Home | Internet-and-Business

You are reading this because you are either struggling to make money online or wanting to make more than what you are earning now. The reality is that there is a goldmine right under your nose, one that you are not paying any attention to. I happen to know a lot of people who have at least one website up and running, but are not making any money out of it. Wouldn't it be great to get paid each and every time you put up a website instead of waiting for the affiliate commission or an Adsense check?

The amount of money that one can earn by promoting a few small to medium sized business owners far out strips the amount that one can earn from a single affiliate program. The number of small businesses that need a website is countless; it is just that they do not know whom to approach regarding this. I cannot undertake promoting every single business that needs a website so I think that you should seriously consider this in order to start making some serious money!

Excuses are easy to make, so let me stop you even before you get started. If you are a newbie and do not have any online experience, do not worry. It will only take you a few weeks at the most to know how to set up a decent looking blog. Once that is done, you would have learnt a valuable skill that you can then market to business owners. On talking to a few of them, you will see how easy it is to get paid for your services. Then you can go about and learn how to set up auto responders, how to do pay per click advertising and how to do search engine optimization, etc.

It is a fact that it is a much easier task to promote a business in ones own home town than it is to promote a business that may not be around for long or promote a product that many are already selling. To check this out, why don't you go out and talk to a few business owners in your area and see what they think.

When you approach the small businesses, it is always a good idea to call them up first and find out when the owner will be available for a discussion. You may want to choose a business in an industry that is doing well, so avoid real estate as that is not so hot these days. When you talk to these business owners do not start your pitch right away, first make some basic inquiries about their business. Listen carefully to what they are saying and what they are not saying. Then when they ask about yours, try to explain it in layman terms as that would ensure the flow of conversation, as they may not be able to understand all the technical mumbo-jumbo. Once you have told them about yourself ask them for some referrals. When they give you some, that is when you make your pitch, you basically tell them how the both of you can help each other out and that you have a common solution for the both of you. This approach may take a few minutes and even a follow-up visit or two, but it should do the trick. Once you have a deal in place do not forget to get 50% of the money upfront, just to be on the safer side.

You can always add on more services later on but for now, do a good job that they value your service. If you are able to do all that I have listed above, your business kitty should soon be overflowing with orders. I know someone who did the same thing and got a check for $1500 the very first day. The only person stopping you from earning a similar amount of money is you if you do not try out all that I had listed above.
