There's a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, all with a great range of British and International foods. Every village and town in the area has an Inn or restaurant or pub to satisfy your taste. Adventure-seekers should check out the Actiondrome in Wiltshire... the home of the Skid Car. Learn to race rally cars around perilous tracks and ultra-slippery surfaces! If that isn't enough excitement for you, try the racing at Swindon Karting Centre, where you can race miniature Formula One cars around intricate and complex tracks! Still not satisfied? For the ultimate thrill-seeker there is skydiving at Cirencester with the Red Devils! If free-falling out of an aircraft with nothing more than a parachute for safety is your idea of fun, then this is going to be heaven for you! If you love horses you'll love the Cotswolds and its many equestrian centres. From paddock training to open-country horseback rides, you can indulge your passion for horses on the miles and miles of horseback trails the area is so well know for! If you have a dog, you'll find he or she is no more at home than in the Cotswolds. In fact, many of the area's attractions even specifically cater for dogs! You needn't leave your beloved pet behind this time... search online or check in with tourist information centres for information on dog-friendly pubs, attractions and accommodation. And the Cotswolds aren't only for the British! Did you know that many Hollywood movies have been filmed in the area... including large portions of the "Harry Potter" series?! Not only that, but well over thirty other movies have been shot in and around the Cotswold area. The internet will give you more information, and there's even organised tours of set locations you can go on! There are plenty of odd traditions in the Cotswolds... but they're a lot of fun! From Wool Sack Day (where men carry heavy sacks of wool through a course) to Cheese rolling (which is world-renowned and even attracts celebrities to watch!) Although there's plenty of history and quaint village life to be had in the Cotswolds, there's plenty for the adventurous teenager too!
