Briefing Windows 7 Windows 7 is the latest version of Microsoft Windows and is more like a tweaked version of the earlier version Windows Vista. Windows 7 looks, behaves, and performs almost exactly like Windows Vista but with more improved performance and has tried to overcome all the shortcomings of Vista.
