Working at home gives a level of freedom that is hard to find when you work a forty hour week and get two weeks of vacation time. Still, this is has disadvantages in terms of security as well since you do not get a pay check. Some internet jobs can vary in technical difficulty: Some may require learning web design or programming. But there are a number that don't have that type of background. These would be ideal for a work at home mom or someone seeking extra income on top of a job while it grows to full time work. 1) People that run websites need to have vistors to their sites and often will outsource the work. For instance they may need someone to write to other web owners to see if they will link to their site. This is a perfect job to do as well as advertising for them on forums and classified ads to assist them in getting more traffic. Without traffic a website cannot prosper. A way to help a webmaster is to study their site and write a few one paragraph summaries. These then can be placed in appropriate categories on classified ad sites or craigslist or yahoo answers to bring them traffic. You can even write to webmasters and ask them if they need a helper and tell them you are interested in helping them get more visitors to their site. The reason why sites like craigslist and yahoo answers are helpful to a webmaster is that they have what is called high page rank. High page rank is helps in google and shows popularity of a site. This in turn will often help it do well for specific phrases if the site is optimized properly. 2) A second way to make money at home is to write articles and submit them to sites that pay you for them. There are a number on the net and you can do a search with "get paid for writing articles" in the search engines. You can also write for individual webmasters articles who are pressed for time but looking for content for their websites, newsletters or blogs. By using titles such as 5 ways get traffic to your site to or 7 tips on indoor gardening you can structure your articles thematically. 3) One effective way to make money on the net is to join affiliate programs like amazon or ebay and then use your own affiliate id code to link to the site. It gets tracked and you earn a commision. You get traffic to the pages by using articles, classified ads or advertising in online newsletters. Any of the above methods are very good for online income. Keep in mind that working at home has it's share of distractions like tv, radio and chatting on the phone. Have a system you follow and you'll succeed.
