Write Sure-fire Headlines For Your Brochures

By: Colleen Davis Home | Business | Advertising

Headlines, in addition to color and design, is what makes your readers want to stop and pick up your brochure printing. Whether you’re marketing or selling your business, your color brochure printing’s appeal depends on the impact your headline has on your target clients. If you want to capture your reader’s interest, you got to have a great headline.

Faced with so many print ads and handouts, the headline in your brochure printing is more important now than it has ever been before. Whether it’s online ads or print brochures, your headline is what makes your color brochure printing a stand out. The principle is all the same when you write your headlines †it’s got to be something that stops your target readers dead on their tracks, and they would want to know more of what you have to say.

So how do you appeal to your readers’ attention? How do you convince them to look inside your color brochure prints?

Use â€keywords’ and hot trends
People just love stories that they have an interest in. It’s a no brainer actually. You read the topics that interest you. What’s hot and what’s in these days? Some trends may be short lived than others, but the key to writing your headline is to be sure to use keywords that would tweak your reader’s hearts. It may be an issue or concern, or about current events; the main point is to have a headline that deals with topics that are currently popular.

Use superlatives.
The most popular tip when writing your headline for your brochure printing is to use superlatives. Exaggerate even. A good headline that stops people on their tracks is something that has hype in their words. Instead of just using â€easy’, apply â€easiest’; instead of â€quality’, use â€best quality’. A note to remember though: some may find superlatives crude, so your impact may vary according to the type of readership you have.

Use one-sentence headlines.
Summarize your story in one sentence. Give your piece in one line and you might just pique the interest of your target clients †enough for them to want to pick up your color brochure printing and browse through its pages.

Use questions.
You may either ask a question or convey an opinion or an idea in a form of a question. In some cases, you might not want to give away everything in your full color print brochure. You just need to use a leading question that makes your readers want to speculate and want to know more. Sometimes getting them interested in a few words is better than revealing everything you have in your headline.

So what are you waiting for? You might want to brush up on your headlines for your brochure printing. With the right headline, you can successfully hook your readers to know more, and give yourself a chance to have your readers read the whole thing.
