Article marketing is in its infant stages of making people money. Look at all the big money-makers, look at all of the wealthiest Internet marketers and you will see that most of them write articles. Why is article marketing so effective? Article marketing has many benefits. First, articles create lots of quality back links linking back to your website or business. Search engines love quality back links. The more links that link to your website from quality sites, the higher your site will rank in the search engines. Second, make sure when you write an article to put a link in your author's biography box that links back to your site within the keyword you want your site to rank highly. For example, if you want to rank highly for ‘best golf clubs' than put your website link within the key phrase of, ‘best golf clubs'. When you look at the bottom of the article I am writing here, you will see the keywords that I want to rank highly for. If you are one of the first to read this article, my site will not be high in the search engines immediately, but give it just a short time and my website will be ranking highly. Sometimes some websites that will publish this article aren't programmed to let your author links appear within words, do you will see just the website link instead, but it still is recognized by the search engines as another link pointing to your website. The alternative to getting links pointing back to your site is to personally contact other similar websites and ask them to link back to you. However, many sites decline to trade links with you because your site is either new or un-important or your site is a strong competitor. Article marketing is much easier and more effective in getting quality back links because once you write an article and submit it to an article directory, publishers and webmasters will pick your article up an publish it on their sites. Your article will continue to spread across the Internet for as long as the Internet is in existence. You couldn't stop the viral spreading of your article even if you wanted to. You'll continue to make sales and get traffic from articles you wrote years ago.
