Xanadu Broadway Show Is A Hit

Once again, the stage of Broadway theatres is going to rock with the echo of applause. Once again, Broadway is going to experience one more smashing hits of its time. We are talking about Xanadu" the enchanting musical love story that's all set to charm you like no other.

Sonny, an avid dreamer has a smashing idea of opening a Roller Disco. He is so determined to fulfill his dream that he calls upon Kira, a magical beauty from the heavens, to help her.

But, when Kira starts getting romantically attracted to Sonny, it gives her sisters a chance to bring out the green-eyed monsters in them. What follows is a series of hilarious scenes that leaves the audience rolling on their sides with laughter.

Kerry Butler has done a fantastic job on stage as Kira. Director Christopher Ashley is no match for words. His wonderful direction has made this show packed with audience.

Xanadu" has some real good music. You hear it once; you will want to hear it once again; and then again, and again! The tunes simply refuse to stop buzzing in your minds. The show has superb songs such as Magic", "I'm Alive", "Party All Over the World", "Xanadu", Suddenly", All Over The World", "Have You Never Been Mellow", and "Evil Woman". They are taken from the movie Xanadu" starring Gene Kelly and Olivia Newton-John.

It is the best dose for those in doldrums. Your spirit will get lifted and you will feel a breeze of motivation touch you. This story is perfect for kids, teens, adults, and the old just for anyone. It snatches your blues and shows you the brighter side of life.

As you watch the talented and ambitious Sonny struggle to make his dreams see the light of the day, you feel as if it's your own story. Everyone has dreams, but not everyone has the guts to make them true. Each one of us needs a source of inspiration. Such is the case with the character Sonny. Hence, Kira comes in the scene as a source of inspiration.

The biggest quality of Xanadu" is that it relates with the audience. As the character come to life on stage, the people seated to watch the show begin to get connected with what's happening in the story. You get a feel of your own life.

Xanadu" is a must-see for all the young, ambitious people who are struggling to prove themselves to the world. Douglas Beane, the renowned storyteller has been successful in sending this message across the audience.
