You Can Make Online Marketing A Real Fun â€â€â€â€

By: RAJEEV DIKSHIT Home | Internet-and-Business

Online marketing professionals such as Danny DeMichele spend most of their time working in the trenches of the Internet world, but every once in a while, even the most dedicated businesspeople have to get out of the office and away from the computer screen. Life inside the World Wide Web will never truly replace life in the â€real world,†after all. And like everyone else these days, this CEO has a Flickr page to prove it.

The Danny DeMichele Flikr page shows the Internet marketing expert and some of his colleagues both at work and at play. Apparently, both work and play often intersect in the online marketing industry, which is pretty much true of most Internet-based industries. Photos with members of the eVisibility team designing a make-shift office at their hotel room in Orlando are juxtaposed with photos of DeMichele and his son, followed by photos of the CEO and online marketing consultant at a shooting range with a client in Dallas.

But like any business professional, from the online world or otherwise, there has to be some real time to unwind. Danny DeMichele photos with members of the ThinkTank team show what many online marketing professionals do to unwind in Southern California †surfing. This â€board meeting†with ThinkTank members Todd Malicoat, DK, Jonathan Holloway and Cameron Olthuis proves that online marketing and digital publicity professionals do get out of the office every once in a while, at least for long enough to catch some waves.

Although everyone has a Facebook or Twitter page these days, which also allow you to share photos, many Internet users still want a page that is dedicated solely to sharing photos without the endless stream of comments, links and Farmville updates. The Danny DeMichele Flikr page, for example, shows photos of the CEO on business trips, with employees, with his son and with fellow online business colleagues surfing in Southern California.Sites like Flickr allow users to share photos, and nothing but photos, with the world? It is mostly for sharing photos with friends, family and associates, but really anyone can stumble upon these photos if they’re surfing the net.

Online photo sharing communities such as Flickr make it possible to upload, categorize and tag your photos. Many savvy Internet users also utilize the Flickr API to integrate their photos into other websites and applications, and many use other features such as Geo tagging. This community in particular provides 100 megabytes of space to upload photos every month, free of charge. And when you find Danny DeMichele photos on sites like Flickr, you know it has to be a real phenomenon.
