Your Dream Niche Or The Biggest Time Suck Ever?

Finding a profitable niche is the key to making money online and it can be the easiest part of the equation, I'll tell you how in a minute, but It's very important to realise that whilst thousands can be made in just a few days within a profitable niche and if you use PPC or any of the paid traffic methods then you could also lose money in affiliate marketing based on your choice of keywords which are just words you use in your marketing to get the attention to your offer.

Choose the wrong keywords and people who just want to look will click rather than people who want to buy. Say you pay 50 cents a click and you get 100 people just looking. There goes 50 bucks and you have not had a single sale. This can ruin a perfectly profitable business.

You need to be careful and pick your keywords so that they are buyer keywords,but how do you find a profitable niche?Thankfully there are many ways to do it such as searching google, MSN, Yahoo, and all the search engines lookig for the signs of traffic yourself by hand. This works a treat and many would say it's the best method, and whilst I've done this myself a few times, it's a very long process and the biggest drawback is being completely side tracked by all the interesting things you'll find.

If you are anything like me, you could be at it for days, looking and finding everything but the right keywords and millions of these potential niches.

Which niche do you choose? Is there an easy way to pick a good niche to make easy money online? If you use something like Micro Niche Finder then it'll search out the profitable ones for you. You could spend a fortune on one of the big expensive systems if you can work out how to actually use these highly complex systems but if you stick with something easy and quick then you can get up and running quickly, and see a profit if you choose your keywords effectively.

You can always split test your ads to work out which is getting sales and which is costing you money. The key is finding a niche that is profitable first.

Run your search by hand if you want, but you'll need to really know your stuff to get the best niche for ytour efforts. I personally don't really ever do that as I'm easily distracted by other marketing messages.

I want to search for a niche and find one that gives me the right signals right from the start. The wrong keywords is a problem that can be easily fixed. The wrong niche on the otherhand is not. You can only find buyers if there are buyers out there.
